Motion Security System

The D-Link Motion Security System is a software designed to work with all common D-Link IP Camera Systems. It improves upon the existing camera features and provides a host of new features. The software uses two phases for Smart Motion Detection that utilizes a neural network. The first phase uses the hardware processor inside the camera coupled with a neural network to filter out false motion alerts caused by lighting changes, dust and insects. The second phase uses the hardware processor of the system running the software to lower the alert latency to less than 50 milliseconds from a default latency of up to 5 seconds. It can also detect common faces and can be set to silence motion related to those users. The system saves a lot of storage space by measuring the usefulness of video clips and storing them on an online server via FTP. The video stream itself is enhanced by using smart filters to combine IR frames with normal frames to reduce exposure issues due to ambient lighting.
