Project Details
The Global Migration Statistics is an interactive platform that visualizes global immigration and emigration between 1990 to 2015. The data collected and provided by United Nations Population Division is mapped and displayed on a 3D interactive globe. The platform allows users to filter by countries, gender and direction.
The proof of concept platform was designed using Google’s WebGL Globe library to display interconnected data points. The data points are mapped using the data collected and provided by United Nations Population Division.
